Yale Buldog Lacrosse Camps

Yale Bulldog Evening Camp

When: 6/15 – 6/17

Where: Reese Stadium (Yale University)

Times: 5:30 – 8:30pm

Ages: 7 - 17

Bulldog Evening Camp is a shorter version of our traditional day camp except it’s a little shorter and a little cooler.

The camp is designed to cater to every spectrum of the local lacrosse community. We offer a great learning experience for every level of lacrosse player, from the beginning player picking up a stick for the first time to the competitive high school player with dreams of playing college lacrosse. Campers are placed in groups based upon both age and skill level which makes it a pleasurable experience for all campers, no matter how long they have been playing lacrosse.

Consider dropping your son off at camp, enjoying a nice dinner and then coming back to watch the scrimmage under the lights. THIS IS NOT AN OVERNIGHT CAMP!

In just two seasons at the helm Coach Beaudoin has amassed 20 wins and just 8 losses. Beaudoin was a Division 1 goalie at the University of Vermont and he has had success coaching at private schools all over the East Coast. In 2002 he helped Bishop Brady School in Concord, NH make it to the state finals, and before Chase he helped Hampton Roads Academy in Newport News, VA make it into the state playoffs after a five-year drought before he took over the team. Coach Beaudoin was the top DIII coach in Western New England and was chosen to coach the Western DII/III team in the New England Prep All-Star game in 2008.  He is the head coach of the CT Lynx U18 elite team as well. Beaudoin runs lacrosse camps during the  summer at Chase and in Woodbury and is also a full time English teacher in Chase's Upper School.

Player’s will learn proper individual offensive and defensive stance and technique with focus on shooting, stick checking and positioning.  Individual instruction will help a new player learn to catch and throw or an advanced player learn how to shoot with maximum velocity or to throw a take away check.  Team concepts such as proper defensive slide technique and how to create offence with and without the ball will be taught later in the week.  Players will need a stick and helmet at least, but full equipment is encouraged.
